For the second time in a week, vandals struck the main soccer field at Northeast Park late Thursday or early Friday.This time, the damage was much worse.A week ago, park officials discovered tire tracks in the grass on the edge of the field, which is west of the Case Diamonds on the north side of the park.At the time, Brian Johnson, director of parks and recreation, said it was fortunate that the playing surface of the field wasn’t damaged.That changed this week.
